The home is set by the Seaside area of 'Sunny Eastbourne' on the south coast. The area is quiet and peaceful. The home is situated approximately at a 5 minute car journey from the town centre with its variety of shops, facilities, library, General Practitioners, and dental practices. There are many local shops and restaurants well within walking distance too. Bus stop to the main bus route is situated only minutes away and the home further benefits from many local parks and beauty spots in the area and is a stones throw from the seafront and promenade. The local Council has recently revamped the overlooked park with outside exercise equipment which is specially designed for older people.
The home is surrounded by beautiful secluded gardens enabling the service users to enjoy their time out in privacy. Many of the rooms overlook into the home's gardens and the views. The management make a great effort to ensure that the gardens are well maintained to enable the people who use them have enjoyable and pleasant time. The home is a purpose build building of two floors accessible by a passenger lift stair case, there is wheelchair access throughout the building and into the gardens. There are thirty-five single and four shared rooms all tastefully and fully furnished. However, the residents are encouraged to bring their own belongings and items that will enable them to feel in familiar surroundings, just like at home. The home has an ongoing maintenance and refurbishment programme, the rooms are equipped with a nurse call system to enable residents to call for assistance any time. There are washing and toileting facilities in each rooms. Rooms are also equipped with over bed/chair tables to enable service users to have a comfortable breakfast in bed if they so wish to. The home also has a number of facilities and equipment available for people with restricted mobility and high dependency needs such as Parkerbaths and shower rooms. Our aim is to enable the people who use our services to feel relaxed in their new environment and create comfortable and homely atmosphere with communal areas where they can make new friends, socialise and take part in our group activities or spend some quiet time in the privacy of their own rooms if they so wish to.

With comfortable seating and a wide selection of movies, our movie room is a favorite spot for residents to relax and enjoy quality entertainment.

Our chaplaincy team is available to provide spiritual guidance, pastoral care, and support to residents of all faiths. Whether it's attending religious services, participating in prayer groups, or receiving sacraments, we are here to support residents in nurturing their spiritual well-being.
Safety is very important in our philosophy and we aim to offer as safe and secure an environment as possible for our service users. All exits to the home are secured so that nobody can enter without authorised access and service users can only leave the house or garden if accompanied by a member of staff competent to keep them safe, and in the full knowledge of the senior staff on duty. Access to the building is only possible through a security system operated by staff.
