Ashley Gardens Care Home is able to offer a holiday service to Older People or People with Dementia who live outside Eastbourne. Often these people are cared for by family members or live-in carers, it is important for carers to have rest to enable them to be refreshed from time to time. It is equally important for the Older Person to continue their holiday experiences and have a change of scenery. Ashley Gardens understands this and endeavors to provide a holiday service with minimal distress to both the client and carer involved. In some cases Ashley Gardens is asked to provide a “rolling holiday” service, this is where clients stay on a regular basis to minimise disruption and provide continuity of care.
